Casual Films was founded by Barnaby Cook and Nick Francis in 2006. Our first commission was 15 films for Expedia.co.uk; shot, edited and uploaded on the road from London to Mongolia in a 1987 Mini.
On our return we realised that if we could make videos for a multinational brand like Expedia with a camcorder, a laptop and a bit of creativity, then we could do it for anyone. Since then we have developed the offering that has seen us grow into the multinational production company we all belong to now.
Casual Films' end-to-end approach to production makes commissioning online video easier than ever before. Whatever your requirement, our experienced, multi-award-winning team will treat your creative ideas with respect, translating them to the screen confidently and efficiently.
We have stripped back the production process, ensuring we do not waste precious budget on anything that is not essential, maximizing on screen quality. Because of this, you would be surprised by the level of production quality we can achieve with even limited resources.
Casual Films specialize in corporate visual communications. We work hard to understand your message before recommending the most effective way to package it for your audience. We’ve done this over 1,000 times to date.
The transient nature of the online audience makes well paced and engaging content essential. The films we make are typically between 90 seconds and five minutes in length. You might be surprised just how much information you can fit within a well-scripted video in a short space of time.
